The Emby settings card keeps the server connection and credential controls together.

Connect with the server URL and a user login, or provide an API key and user ID.

The setup guide does not store the password after obtaining a token.

Test sends the saved token or API key only to the saved server address. If you change the address, enter the token again before testing. The same applies to Plex and Jellyfin.

Force Sync scans Emby with cheaper paging, and its library replay runs several items at once while keeping each item’s order. For a show set to a non-Aired episode order, the scheduled recently-watched import and live playback completion are translated to the aired episode before they are saved.

The Plekt Emby plugin is available as a local beta. Use the in-app Emby setup guide for plugin installation, or use Emby’s built-in webhooks as an alternative. Enable only one event sender to avoid duplicate events.

For the webhook alternative, open Preferences → Notifications → Webhooks, add the full Plekt webhook URL, and enable:

  • playback: Start, Pause, Unpause, and Stop;
  • users: Mark Played and Mark Unplayed; and
  • Send All Properties, so resume fields are present.

Leave unrelated event categories off until the core event path works. To confirm a manual mark reaches Plekt, use the webhook Test button.
