Upcoming is a calendar of historical and future episode air dates for tracked shows. Air dates are metadata: viewing an entry does not mark an episode watched.

Use Up Next on the Dashboard when you want a short list of released, unwatched episodes that are ready to start. Upcoming remains the broader calendar view.

Use the calendar

  1. Open Upcoming.
  2. Use Previous month, Next month, or Today to move through the calendar.
  3. Scroll to load adjacent months, up to 24 months either side of the current month.
  4. Enter a show, episode title, or episode code such as S2E4 in the labelled Search field. The control bar buttons use the same pill style as the media page actions.
  5. Select an episode when you need to open its show context.

The calendar uses TheTVDB-backed season and episode structure. Cached months open quickly, while revalidation can refresh changed air dates in the background. An episode appears once, even when one series is tracked as two shows in your library.

Subscribe in a calendar app

Select Subscribe to create a private calendar URL for TV releases, movies, or both. The feed includes upcoming releases for titles in your library. It uses the public address you opened in your browser, unless PLEKT_PUBLIC_URL is configured. The address must be reachable by your calendar provider. Local and private addresses cannot be used.

Anyone with the URL can read the feed. Regenerate it to revoke the previous URL, including when changing which types of release are included.
